The BPI 1PRJ11 surge suppressor provides 1 AC outlet and 2 RJ11 Females for telephone, fax or modem protection. This unit incorporates state-of-the-art technology and provides excellent protection for your electronic equipment with a maximum current draw of 15 amps and provides both common and normal noise filtering.
The 1PRJ11 is UL listed 1449. It has 330 volt peak pass voltage rating tested at IEEE spec level, which is 6,000 volts @ 3,000, amps.
Where as the regular UL test for plug in surge protectors is 6,000 volts @ 500 amps.
Most competitor devices hit with the 6,000 volts @ 3,000 amps will blow & so will your equipment.
We test ours to the IEEE spec because that is where most electronic equipment damages occur according to the Edison foundation after numerous proven studies. This unit has an automatic reset & will take surge after surge & if does self-sacrifice send in back & you’ll get a new replacement.
