Fire Alarm / ILCP 60 Series Models: These are UL listed 497B/FOURTH EDITION in-line series screw terminal multi-stage hybrid devices. These units are designed not only to protect equipment but also reduce the incidence of false alarms due to its close clamping ability at high-induced voltages. There is a ground lug provided. These Isolated Loop Circuit Protector for Communication Lines, The Pro-tech / ILCP incorporates state of the art technology and provides multi stage hybrid protection for your communication lines. Tested to ANSI/IEEE B3 impulse standards and UL 497 4th edition. Unlike other communication line surge suppressors, Pro-Tech ILCP go far beyond industrial grade surge suppressors. It is self-restoring after each surge within ratings.
Only use if you have a common ground i.e. single ground for entire system to prevent ground loops. ILCP60: 60 Volts DC to be used on the initiating circuits and addressable loops operating above 24V DC (38V DC) that are drawing less than 1 amp.* For notification appliance circuits that draw up to 3 amps add option BH after the part number when ordering below.
